About Progenoforms
The Mindforms initiative is excited to introduce Progenoforms, a generative art NFT collection created entirely on Ethereum MainNet. Each Progenoform is a one-of-a-kind, fully onchain artifact: its metadata, SVG artwork, and dynamic animation are all generated and stored directly on the Ethereum blockchain with no need for third-party infrastructure, and no two are ever the same.

Progenoforms are more than just visual art. When you mint, each NFT is assigned a unique set of personality traits inspired by the Big Five model: extroversion, conscientiousness, openness, agreeableness, and neuroticism, plus perseverance and vitality. These seven traits are part of the NFT's metadata, giving every Progenoform its unique personality and are visually expressed in both the static SVG image (examples below) and in the animation generated from them (click any of the below images to view the generated animation). This also opens up possibilities for future AI-adjacent projects, where Progenoforms can interact and even evolve.

The Art Factory: Creating ThoughtForms
The first major use for Progenoforms is as the creative engine behind ThoughtForms, a companion NFT collection on the fast and affordable Base Layer 2. Progenoforms act as an art factory, letting anyone craft new, personalized animations called ThoughtForms. Through an easy-to-use web interface, collectors and visitors can pick a Progenoform and tweak its parameters in real time, exploring different generative possibilities until they land on a design that speaks to them. Once happy, users can add a custom message and mint their ThoughtForm NFT, sending it to their own Ethereum address, or even to someone's email or Twitter handle. If you choose the latter, the system creates a new Ethereum wallet for the recipient and sends instructions for claiming their gift, making the experience accessible even for crypto newcomers.
